2018:    Theologia in Loco has been published since April 2018 with a frequency of publications two times a year (April and October).

2018:    Theologia in Loco published the 1st volume in April under the coordination of the first Editor in Chief, Asigor Parongna Sitangggang, Th.D.

2020:    Binsar Jonathan Pakpahan, Ph.D. serves as the new Editor in Chief since January 2020.

2021:    Septemmy Eucharistia Lakawa, Th.D. serves as the new Editor in Chief since January 2021.

2022:    This journal has implemented an updated form of article templates since January 2022, which can be downloaded here.

2022:    This journal has registered to Crossref since April 2022.

2023:    Theologia in Loco has been accredited with a Sinta 3 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 79/E/KPT/ 2023 starting from Vol. 2 No. 2 (2020) to Vol. 7 No. 1 (2025). The accreditation certificate can be viewed and downloaded here.

2024:    Binsar Jonathan Pakpahan, Ph.D. serves as the new Editor in Chief since October 2024.

2026:    In response to the dynamic use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in journal publications, Theologia in Loco applies an AI usage policy. This policy will apply to Volume 8, Issue 1, April 2026, and subsequent publications. The AI policy can be found here: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Policy.

2026:    Theologia in Loco has been degraded from Sinta 3 to Sinta 4 accreditation. This degradation was officially announced in the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development, number, 286/DST/C3/HM.01.00/2026  dated April 7, 2026. This Sinta 2-accredited status applies to publications from Volume 5 Number 2 2023 to Volume 10 number 1 2028.
