Artikel ini menganalisis tantangan krisis keesaan baik di tingkat mondial maupun di Indonesia. Beberapa dokumen digunakan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana studi tentang krisis keesaan telah berlangsung, dan kemudian melihat kesamaannya dengan krisis keesaan di Indonesia. Data berbasis dokumen diproses menggunakan perangkat kualitatif untuk melihat masalah yang ada dan polanya; khususnya terkait interkoneksi antara data. Artikel ini juga fokus pada analisis program PGI 2021-2023, sekaligus membedakannya dari artikel lain yang menganalisis krisis keesaan secara lebih umum, tanpa menganalisis program terkait dengan wadah keesaan.
