Klemens dari Aleksandria Melampaui Praktik Ritual

Artikel ini mengkaji pemahaman Klemens dari Alexandria tentang doa dengan menganalisis Paedagogos dan Stromateis VII sebagai karya teologis terintegrasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan historis-hermeneutis dan analisis teks-teologis, artikel ini berargumen bahwa Klemens memandang doa sebagai habitus spiritual yang formatif, yang menggabungkan disiplin diri, pengetahuan relasional, dan keheningan kontemplatif. Dalam Paedagogos, doa berfungsi sebagai dinamika pedagogis yang membentuk hasrat dan menumbuhkan kebajikan melalui kehadiran Logos dalam ritme kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam Stromateis VII, doa digambarkan sebagai percakapan batin yang berkelanjutan dengan Allah, menandai kedewasaan spiritual melalui partisipasi dalam kehidupan ilahi. Sebagai konsekuensinya, doa bukan sekadar praktik ritual, melainkan transformasi eksistensial yang menyembuhkan dan memulihkan integritas pribadi sambil memperdalam keterlibatan diri orang beriman dengan kasih di dunia.
